Trump campaign, RNC launch ‘Swamp The Vote’ site to boost mail-in ballots in Pennsylvania

Former President Donald Trump is now supporting mail-in voting in Pennsylvania, even though four years ago, he claimed it was full of fraud and cost him the election.

On Tuesday, Trump’s campaign launched a website called SwampTheVoteUSA.com to help rural voters in Pennsylvania request mail-in ballots. The website is directly connected to the Pennsylvania Department of State, allowing voters to request a mail-in ballot without being redirected to other sites.

Michael Whatley, the chair of the Republican National Committee, says the site will make it easier and faster for people to vote by mail. He also mentioned that Trump has always seen voting by mail as an option, similar to voting in person or using absentee ballots.

“This new website in Pennsylvania will help make sure Trump supporters can easily and securely vote by mail,” Whatley said. “It’s a big step in our plan to get President Trump back to the White House.”

Even though Trump lost Pennsylvania to Joe Biden in 2020, he tried to challenge the results by questioning the legitimacy of the mail-in ballots counted after Election Day, especially in Democratic areas. However, legal challenges to the election results were rejected due to a lack of conclusive evidence.
